When I sleep in and don't get my run in until later in the day (which is happening more and more often....) I don't get Sriracha with my breakfast. It's kind of a bummer.
I love the Time Capsule playlist on Spotify - so many goodies on there! It's what I listened to during my run yesterday.
It was raining off and on yesterday and I just didn't feel like dealing with it. I usually enjoy running in the rain, but I've been a baby lately. I got 3 sweaty miles in on the treadmill. I'm super ready to run longer than 3...but I still have one more week of building after this week...I can do it!
I've been really good about wearing my heart rate monitor lately. I used to HATE the feeling of it, but I think I'm getting used to it. I definitely take it off as soon as I'm finished running, but I like knowing the heart rate information. It's the data nerd in me.
Post-run snack attack. Chocolate PB and a honey oat rice cake. Mmm.
i knocked out a bunch of work, then took a lunch break. Greek yogurt chicken salad and brussles in the AirFryer. Plus some Nuun vitamins in a wine glass!
Guys, these are seriously the best cookies/bars that I've ever had. We are obsessed. You can add anything you want to them. They're great for fueling on the go, too! I gave some to Jake at one of the check-points in his last 100-miler. Cookies and running? Yes, please.
I took another brain break and did an Epsom salt soak. I took my Nuun with me.
And it just so happened that Chandler was enjoying a bath, too! This made me laugh pretty hard. I was jealous of the bubbles Monica added for him, though.
I used the Skratch cookie mix to make bars! I added pecans and blueberries. It kind of looked like a blueberry crumb cake. I couldn't wait to try it once it baked!
Then we had pizza night! I found these crusts at Lucky's the other day - they turned out to be SUPER yummy.
We added this to our pizza! Super good!
The finished product! Tomato paste, the above chicken sausage, spinach, onion, mushroom, jalapeño, and goat cheese. Oh, and lots and lots of garlic.

I know we are weird. We started watching a new series on Netflix. It's called 'Rotten'. It's about different foods/crops and illegal things that have occurred with them - I know that's a terrible description, but I honestly don't know how else to describe it. It's interesting, but the episodes seem long. I have a really hard time just sitting and watching something, so I did my stretches and 500 abs while we watched. I also FaceTimes Jake. He loves it when I do weird things like this. I made the girls talk to him through the phone, too. They didn't get it.
Confession, I haven't done my stretches for 3 days. Man, I could tell! I HAVE to go back to being consistent. My days have been blurring together with trying to knock out all this computer work, but that is NOT an excuse. Back to doing them EVERY single day. No matter what. Lu just wanted me to play with her.
We are still trying to find a fun road trip to take for a little getaway after our wedding! We won't take our honeymoon until later. If you have any suggestions, PLEASE send them our way! We are thinking 5-9 days, driving to different places.
While I was doing my abs, both girls attacked me. I swear they planned it. I couldn't get up because they were licking/jumping on me so much and then I couldn't tell them to stop because I was laughing os hard. Jake just sat there and didn't help me! It was hilarious and terrifying all at once. They're strong dogs and definitely won. They eventually went back to fighting over a toy, but it took awhile for my heart rate to go back down.
I'm going to HealthTracks later today! I'm looking forward to it. Then I have...you guessed it, more computer work. : ) Fun. Stuff.
At least I'm making progress! I hope. I'm working on edits all day today, so it'll be nice to get some of those finished.

I got lots of cuddles from the girls. They could tell Jake was getting ready to leave - they both get even cuddlier if one of us is packing.

Breakfast yesterday morning was more crockpot breakfast casserole. I've also been on an OJ kick ever since we got that fresh squeezed juice from Lucky's - it's just so good! We need more.

We made breakfast casserole in the crockpot again for breakfast this week - it's such a time saver! We added a sweet potato, an onion, mushrooms, two jalapeños, sausage, 16 eggs, and almond/coconut milk. We let the whole mixture cook on low overnight, then it's ready to go when we wake up!
I wasn't feeling steel cut oats on Friday morning. I really like to get some veggies in with breakfast, so I made an egg scramble with beets, onion, and spinach. It was delicious! I also had a flaxseed and quinoa waffle with PB.
I was starving after my run yesterday, so I had eggs and steel cut oats for breakfast. Plus some of the fresh-squeezed OJ from Lucky's. It is SO good.
Jake and Jyssica worked on her running plan a little the other day - I forgot to post this picture! Jyss is running the full in Nashville and she is absolutely KILLING her training. It has been so fun to watch her. I can't wait for race day!
