Yesterday I ran errands after breakfast - I love stealing Jake's work zip-up, it's so comfortable! Plus, it's too small for him. Win-win! ; )
I NEEDED new lipgloss (I have an addiction to lipgloss), so I stopped by Ulta to test out some new colors! I'm currently loving Tarte lip stain. Anyone else have any glosses they can't live without??
I went to the grocery store to get food for this weekend while we are camping. I loved dried mango, but I have never had this before! I had to open it in the car...I'm not sure what I think yet. It's definitely different! The mango pieces are really thick, too. I like the thinner pieces they use for just plain dried mango.
Then I came home and made this goodness for lunch! After this weekend, we are going back to a more Paleo diet, so we are trying to eat up our groceries. We eat pretty clean most of the time, but I'm ready to get back to eating even cleaner! I feel SO much better when we do. I need to go back to no dairy. I think that's what has been irritating my acid reflux again.
Jake and I ordered some goodr sunglasses to run in and this is the email they sent me. I was dying laughing. So awesome!
Snacks and race hydration/recovery for the weekend! I typically eat whole wheat bagels, but I read that the wheat can upset your stomach sometimes. I've been eating white, plain bagels ever since and I haven't had any issues! I'm running the heavy half this weekend, which will be about 15 miles. So far, my ankle and knee are feeling better! I'm just going to run slow and listen to my body. If I need to stop, I will. I don't want a serious, long-term injury.
So, I have a new guilty pleasure. My sweet tooth has been TERRIBLE this week. Putting my super greens in chocolate milk is probably the best thing I've ever done with my life. (Not being dramatic at alllllll). So. Dang. Good.
Another guilty pleasure...Sriracha and tortilla chips. Add cheese slices to this, and Jake would be in heaven. That's one of our favorite snacks!
I know we are both going to be so busy this weekend, so I cooked our dinner for Friday last night. We are having pesto pasta with veggies and ground turkey. Mmmmm! I made a ton and put the extra into containers for Jake's lunches Tuesday and Wednesday - that way we aren't scrambling to get his lunches put together when we get home from a weekend of camping! I think this is going to be delicious!
Breakfast this morning was an egg and veggie scramble with half a blueberry bagel. Mmm!
I finished up my online class stuff for the next week this morning, so that feels good! I'm going to finish packing for the weekend, then I think we are good to go! We are dropping our girls off at our parents' before we leave, so I'm going to miss them. A lot. But they love going to their grandparents' houses, so I know they'll have fun!
