I hope your Thanksgiving is wonderful! I am thankful for each of you and cherish the friendships I have made through this blog. <3
I did a little computer work yesterday morning, then I met my Mom, my friend, Adrienne, and her Mom, June, for a mother/daughter lunch that we do every year before Thanksgiving. It was blast to see them and catch up. I had a bento box, which I haven't had in FOREVER. It was delicious.
Then it was home to try out the new trainer set up Jake put together for me! I had planned on attempting to ride for 50-60 minutes...I'm overly ambitious sometimes.
Here was my set-up! A YouTube spinning workout video and Netflix. You can roll your eyes at me...I deserve it!
So, that was WAY harder than I was anticipating.
We went out last night with some good friends for Wild Turkey Wednesday! It was a blast, like always. We went to Galloway Grill, which is what we usually do.
Love these people!
Friends since high school!
Then it was up to get a run in! We usually do the Turkey Trot, which is a 5k here in town, but Jake is on call this week/weekend, so we decided to skip it this year. The weather this morning was perfect for a run!
I got 8 miles in for my own turkey trot!
Then it was home to play with my babies before heading out for family fun! Aspen dropped her toy on my foot and just stared at me...
We have lunch with my family and dinner with Jake's! It's going to be a wonderful, fun-filled day with family!
I hope your Thanksgiving is relaxing and enjoyable! <3
I write about whatever is going on each day. I want to use this space as a place to document my dissertation and training journeys.
