More wedding photos to share!!!! Brandi is SO talented. Jake and I are lucky to have her (and Scottie) as friends! If you want to see more of her incredible work, go HERE. Her studio is called BG Studios Photography. She's the bomb.
Here's me and my momma.
This is Jake's stepmom, Cynthia. She is an amazing athlete! I feel like she wins every race she does, which is a ton. She and Jake's Dad race just about every weekend - they're impressive!
This is my birth mom, Dawn! We met about 4 years ago and she is very special to me. I'm so glad she was able to join us in Colorado.
My sisters! <3 On the left is my sister, Piper. Jake's sister, on the right, is also a Chelsea. We call her Chelsea #1 and I'm Chelsea #2.
All of our beautiful Grandmas! Keep scrolling for some laughs...
Penny, my perfect mother-in-law, Dawn, and my momma. This is one of my favorites.
I think my Mom and Jake's Mom look alike. They're both gorgeous.
These had me laughing SO hard.
Here's some of us getting ready! My Mom's face in this first one makes me laugh.
Double fisting mimosas, thatta girl! ; )
Jake's a lucky guy, huh? ; )
Okay, back to real life, I guess...
Breakfast yesterday was toast with jelly, two eggs, and a veggie scramble. It was delicious!
Here's the workout I promised you! It's Tabata, so you go 8 rounds, 20 seconds on, 10 seconds off. I did a total of 4 rounds with 8 mini rounds - does that make sense?? This workout plus the 10 minute abs only took 25ish minutes! Super quick. But I definitely got my heart rate up!
Here are the abs I did. I'm a little sore this morning!
I love this timer app for Tabata stuff. It keeps track of each round and makes a sound at 20 seconds and again at 10 seconds. That way you don't have to worry about keeping track of anything!
I had some crazy hair after doing the high knees.
Aspen needed some love after my workout.
Lunch was more leftovers, then it was back to the computer!
Lu needed some cuddles, so I took a break from work. I just can't say no to that precious face.
Sorry if you don't like blood, but isn't it crazy how much a little nick from shaving bleeds?? You'd think I cut off a huge chunk of skin with all this blood...
When it's really a tiny little cut!
I rocked my bike necklace last night.
We went to Bass Pro before dinner and while Jake looked at fishing stuff, I watched the alligators. I'm basically a child when it comes to animals in stores. I think I watched them for 20 some minutes. They were actually moving around!
In theory, these are adorable. But holy heck they hurt. Super uncomfortable.
For dinner last night, we met the Planks at Maria's for some Mexican. One of my weaknesses is adding sweetener to salsa...I just love sweet salsa!
I had the fish tacos. They were pretty good! And a major bonus - I have leftovers for lunch today!
The traditionals at Maria's are delicious.
We wrapped up date night with drinks at Civil Kitchen. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather since it was finally cooling off again!
I'm off to the library again today! Just keep swimming, just keep swimming...
But hey, that means I get a latte! Yay for bribery! ; )
Happy Friday Eve!
I write about whatever is going on each day. I want to use this space as a place to document my dissertation and training journeys.
