I did a little computer work yesterday (surprised?), but then enjoyed a little snack. I'm still pretty obsessed with rice cakes.
Later on in the afternoon, I had some time to get my nails done. I go to Quality Nails - it's the best here in town! If you need an amazing nail place, go see them! I see Alecks, but everyone there does an incredible job.
After my nail appointment, it was back home to my computer and lunch time! I've just been eating leftovers - quinoa, vegetables, and dairy-free cheese. It was delicious.
Jake left to go ride after work and I headed to Galloway to meet Kayla. We sat outside and had a drink while we got caught up. Sometimes you need to wear a baggy camo tank with baggy cut-offs. It was VERY fancy.
After their ride, Jake and Coty met Kayla and me at Galloway to grab dinner. I had the BLT with a side salad. It was incredible, as always.
Jake had the Redbird, which is delicious, too.
Both guys had chocolate milk when they met us as a recovery drink. They were pretty stoked that Galloway had this chocolate milk.
Remember how I said I had a new sunless face tanner I was trying? Well, it's pretty awesome! You can get it HERE. Scroll to see my own progress. The tanner I usually use makes my face breakout, so I found this and so far, so good!
Not the best pictures, but it does work! This is after two applications. I just put the sunless tanner on at night and wash it off when I wake up. I love this stuff!
We have a busy weekend coming up! Our reception is Saturday, so we are looking forward to that. It feels like we have gotten to have almost a month of wedding fun since we were traveling and waited to have our reception until two weeks after we got married. I'm going to be sad when it's all over! I don't think we will ever stop celebrating, though. : ) I will share all about our weekend and our reception on Monday's post! I hope you have a great weekend, friends!
I write about whatever is going on each day. I want to use this space as a place to document my dissertation and training journeys.
